I got this video a while back and hated it, but hearing how some consider SmokeVision to be tops in the fetish video industry I thought I'd take a second look. To my surprise it was so bad I had to write about it and in great detail. It became entertaining in a different way to me than a fetish standpoint. It was like a car accident or Ed Wood movie that you couldn't pull yourself away from. The video starts off with an overweight mustached blonde on the phone who exhales once and when the smoke comes from her mouth to the middle of her exhale it is invisible while the rest of the smoke is over illuminated. A modus operendi for SmokeVision. Then they cut to some lame dance floor footage. Next a melon faced blonde with no chin graces our screen. She brings the cigarette to her mouth with her fingers parallel to the ground in a very masculine style. She is stiff and lifeless. Awesome snaps and rings, quick distracting edits, poor lighting are the objective realities to a very dull segment. Next we cut to an anorexic girl dancing with an unlit cigarette and about as graceful as a bull. We cut to a girl that looks Spanish with strong features. Big nose and big lips. She smokes like a beginning smoker. The lighting is just atrocious as now you see it now you don't is the rule. Oh No!! It is the anorexic girl again. Close your eyes because next up an ugly ghetto girl who looks like she considers hygiene to be as important as ballet lessons. Not that anyone cares, but she can't smoke well either. Next is the gapped tooth girl who is a welcome relief. She is the prettiest girl so far. She uses a holder for no reason I can understand at first. Especially since she is not natural at all with it. Even if you like holders which I don't think most do the scene would be dull. When she lights up a regular cigarette she starts to look better, but then the annoying voice over guy says, "blow them a kiss", which is annoying enough, but then she smiles the biggest smile you ever saw and all you see is this huge, ugly gap and high gums which ruins everything. Not only this, but you see the backlight directly in your face a number of times which is just unforgivable especially when you still can't see the smoke. As for the smoking it is straightforward with dull pouty exhales that just look like a beginner. What could make this video worse? A homely girl with a GUY. Who wants to see a guy in a fetish video. This is breaking rule #1. Especially since to be completely objective the guy is 10 times better looking the the girl(that is something that even though true I said for humor). I would think most people will quickly fast forward this part as I did. Fat girl dancing. Thank God!!!!!!!! Wait who is this? She isn't bad at all. Nice features and rather pretty. The scene is even lighted about 75% on target. Lovely exhales, some great talking ones, a little shallow on the inhales at times, but this is very nice. Wait a minute its over. Bring her back!!!! Back to the uglattos. This next girl could be on Jerry Springer as a guy that dresses like a girl or vice versa. Masculine haircut, long strong face, big ears, big nose and big moles to top it off. She tries to be sexy when she smokes. Gross!!!!!!!!! Did I forget to mention the annoying voice overs. This time it says, "The most beautiful girls in the world" without a hint of irony as a homely girl rides up an elevator dangling a cigarette. More dancers looking stupid. OK My girl is back. Excellent. She may not be Sarah Michelle Gellar, but next to these girls she is Hot!!! and the filming is at its best. Over again and back to an Italian looking woman who is on the phone. She is old for my tastes, not ugly, but not a girl that should be in videos. Another anorexic girl dancing like an idiot with an unlit cigarette. She then smokes while dancing which believe me is not a plus. Here we go!!! This girl is another cutie. She is blonde and very fresh looking. Another hottie!!! Nice surprise. Filmed well and nice smoking. She then plays pool a bit. Some fake dangles and some bad front lighting at the start of the scene, but some really nice moments and for the first time the environment is a plus. Back to reality as the fat girl from the start makes another appearance. She ain't as ugly as many of the girls, but another example of a girl that makes you ask, "why would you put this girl in a video?". Not to mention you start to notice a lot of repeated footage of scenes that annoyed you the first time. Next another really ugly girl. I can't watch. Fast forwarding we end with an average girl, hit and miss lighting and a better than average smoker. After watching this video I just ask myself how can anyone choose some of these girls to be in a video that was meant to be sexy. They try to distract the viewer with incredibly quick editing, but it is very poorly done and gives you a headache. Background music, really frustrating lighting that is completely inconsistent at highlighting the smoke, and cheesy production just add to the mess this video is. Yes I do admit I own a couple other Smoke Vision videos because I thought they could never be this bad, but this is actually representative of their work, and anyone who is looking to satsfy a fetish I recommend looking elsewhere.
