This is a real classic. I don't know why I waited so long to get it, as I've been a fan of Julie for a long time (I've now got all the IRL videos with her including the In The Beginning series, which I would also recommend if you are a Julie fan).
I don't know what it is about Julie that is so irresistable, I have seen better looking girls in smoking videos and her smoking is for the most part straight forward. Although she does attempt french inhales she's not very good at them. She just has a lovely girl-next-door quality that is very engaging and you can tell she is not faking it when she smokes, there is often a secondary exhale.
Although I would have liked it if there had been some live audio, the music in this video is not unpleasant. The lighting is good for the most part and you can see the exhales quite well.
There is quite good variety in this production with Julie shown wearing about 4 or 5 different outfits ranging from cute and child-like to sexy strapless boob-tube. Most of the scenes are shot from 2 angles and are either shown with each drag-exhale shown from each angle or as complete scenes from one angle at a time. Most of the cigarettes are all-white 100's with one cork at the end. This scene is actually a close up of the last scene from Halle and Julie. If you look closely you can see Halle's reflection in the window behind.
There is one holder scene, though Julie doesn't look like she's used a holder before, she manages it ok. I'm not really a holder fan, but if you were I don't think you would buy this video just for that. |
